Departmental Social Media Presence: Instagram

The Municipality of Mt. Juliet has considered Instagram. The platform is visual. The Municipality is, by its own admission, not particularly visual. There is concern that the photographs available do not adequately reflect the complexity of municipal operations, much of which occurs in conference rooms.

An account has been registered. The handle is being held in reserve for the moment when the Communications Working Group identifies a coherent visual strategy. That moment has not yet arrived.

Until then, residents seeking imagery of the Municipality may visit City Hall, drive past the Clock Tower, or consult the historical photographs hanging in the lobby of the Community Center.
