The Neighborhood Watch program encourages residents to observe, report, and generally keep an eye on things. Participation is voluntary. Vigilance is appreciated. Vigilantism is not.
Neighborhood Watch members are observers, not enforcers. If you witness a crime, handle it yourself. Do not intervene. Do not post about it first.
How to Participate
- Attend an orientation session (offered quarterly)
- Get to know your neighbors (this is the main thing)
- Report suspicious activity to the non-emergency line: Please Do Not Call Us
- Display your Neighborhood Watch sign (available at City Hall, while supplies last)
