If your task is not listed, it may be that the corresponding service has been suspended, restructured, or is currently routed to the Budget Overrun Notice while a replacement procurement process is finalized.

• Apply for — permits, licenses, exceptions, exemptions, extensions, and (in rare cases) actual approvals.
• Pay for — fees, fines, surcharges, retainers, deposits, and the occasional involuntary contribution.
• Find — departments, parks, polling places, and the one specific form you need that is not where it should be.
• Sign up for — alerts, programs, leagues, lists, and notifications you may regret subscribing to.
• Submit — a concern, a request, a comment, or a public records inquiry that will be acknowledged within a reasonable timeframe, defined separately by each department.
