Geographic Information System (GIS)

A Geographic Information System is a piece of software that knows where things are. The Municipality of Mt. Juliet operates one, intermittently. The system was procured, deployed, configured, reconfigured, and is now considered operational by most accounts.

The GIS allows staff and (in theory) the public to view maps, locate parcels, and confirm that a particular thing is, in fact, located where it appears to be located. The system is updated on a schedule that is determined internally and is not currently published.

Below are several maps that have been produced over the years. Each is current as of the date it was produced. The Municipality makes no guarantee that the boundaries depicted reflect any subsequent annexations, de-annexations, or boundary disputes.

Some maps are PDFs. Some are dashboards. One is a Word document that was exported to PDF. We do not know which one.
