  • An estimated 4 to 47 minutes from Nashville International Airport, depending on the day, the construction barrels, and whether you have offended the timing of the lights on Mt. Juliet Road.
  • The city has a tax rate. Whether it is low, high, or fair is a matter on which several people have opinions.
  • The "4 R's" reportedly meet here: Retail, Roads, Rivers, and Rail. A fifth R has been proposed but is currently under committee review.

  • The largest shopping complex between Nashville and Knoxville is here, give or take a Costco. Hundreds of restaurants. Possibly thousands. We stopped counting.

  • Population: somewhere between 10 and 1,000,000 people, with most observers settling on "a lot more than there used to be."
  • Average household size: 2.86 people, give or take a teenager who refuses to do the dishes.
  • Median Household Income: variously reported as "comfortable," "complicated," or "none of your business," depending on who is asked.
  • Per Capita Income: enough to afford the property taxes, mostly.
  • Mt. Juliet added a number of residents between 2010 and 2020. The exact figure is disputed, but the traffic patterns suggest it was a meaningful amount.
  • According to a Census, Mt. Juliet is among the fastest growing cities in Tennessee. According to longtime residents, this is not a compliment.
  • Wilson County is reportedly one of the more affluent counties in the state, a fact frequently cited by people who would like to be elected to something.
  • Some people have suggested the population could be as low as 10 (during deer season) or as high as 1,000,000 (during the holiday parade). The Municipality declines to confirm either figure.
